Tetsu Iida is a leading authority on Renewable Energy, and a “Social Innovator”, who founded in 2000 and has served as chairperson for Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies (ISEP), a Non-profit and Independent entity. Has been made various energy-related social innovations, such as drafted FIT (Feed-in Tariff) in 1999, created green certificate with TEPCO and SONY in 2001, created the first Japan community wind with first community bond in 2001, realized the first energy and environmental agency in 2004. Long been strongly influential both for national and local policies, such as nuclear, renewable, climate area. Especially, contributed to introduce Cap & Trade into Tokyo Metropolitan Government, 100% RE target for Fukushima and Nagano. Received the World Wind Energy Honorary Award 2016.
