Rafael Guevara Senga
Senior Advisor, Global Energy Policy
Climate and Energy Practice
Rafael has a long track record in national, regional and international climate and energy policy, playing key roles in energy campaigns and legislative advocacy to transition developing Asia away from fossil energy and into 100% renewables, for the past 14 years at WWF, and previously with other NGOs he was associated with.
In his current position, he is primarily responsible for the implementation of TER in the Asia-Pacific Region – accelerated large-scale deployment of renewables and laying the basis for the eventual phase-out of fossil and nuclear energy in the world’s fastest growing region, both in economic and emission terms. He works with WWF country offices in the development of Country/Regional Energy Reports and strategies in key emerging economies and other developing countries in Asia
